Why Do I Really Keep Seeing His Name Everywhere

Why Am I Seeing His Name Everywhere

I know this has happened to you.

The new guy at the office catches your eye.

He seems interested, and you know there is something between you.

But then something strange happens.

His name keeps popping up everywhere.

In meetings, in lunchroom chats, in the gossip around the water cooler.

And it’s not just at work.

You even hear his name on the radio and TV.

Everywhere you go, his name comes up.

You may think you have entered the Twilight Zone.

Don’t panic.

He hasn’t used some kind of voodoo to alter your reality.

What you are seeing is the law of attraction at work.

Seeing His Name Everywhere Law of Attraction

The law of attraction states that we attract those things into our lives that resonate with our emotional energy.

This means that while you’re thinking about that hot guy, you are also drawing him to you.

Now don’t get too excited just yet.

It doesn’t mean that you can pull anyone you want into your life.

What it means is that you will attract the emotional energy that you associate with the person you like.

If Mr. Right means warmth and security to you, then you will attract manifestations of that warmth and security every time you think about him.

This may mean that you attract an office guy to you, but only as long as he represents the feelings that you associate with him.

If it turns out that he’s not what you thought, then you may end up attracting a different guy who really does match up with your vibrations.

The law of attraction is a tricky thing because we don’t always get what we think we want.

We don’t even get what we need. We get what matches our energy.

If you want to try using the law of attraction deliberately, the process is simple.

Picture your desired outcome, not the thing you want but the actual outcome.

So, for instance, if you’re looking for a relationship, don’t picture the guy that you would like to meet.

Instead, picture yourself having a romantic dinner with a handsome guy.

If a promotion at work is what you’re after, then picture yourself being given that promotion in your boss’s office, while he shakes your hand.

You get the idea right?

Don’t just picture something good, picture it happening to you.

Next, you have to create emotional energy around that image.

You might imagine a golden light surrounding the image, or you might just send feelings of desire and affection towards it.

Find what feels right to you.

The clearer the image you have, and the stronger your emotional connection with it, the faster it will manifest in your life.

But be careful, remember that we attract things that resonate with our emotional energy.

You might think you want a new car.

But, if you can’t get excited about it, you’re going to have a hard time attracting it to you.

Figure out the things that you really want, the things that make you excited, and create a mental image around those.

It can be tricky figuring out what you really want because we’re so drawn to material things.

But, just like in the case of the office guy, it is the feelings that we want to bring into our lives, not the material possessions that represent them.

Is it Just in Your Head?

Anyone who’s experienced this themselves will know what it feels like and will know that this is real.

But, if you’ve never had the law of attraction work for you, you may be wondering if this is all self-delusion.

And, it could be.

There is a thing called the reticular activating system, which is basically a bundle of nerves at the base of our brain.

What it does is, select which information we pay attention to in our environment.

It’s our reticular activation system that enables us to hear our name called out in a crowd or lets us notice things in our surroundings that matter to us.

Some people say that the law of attraction is nothing more than our brains paying attention to the things we are constantly thinking about.

This is a nice idea, and it does explain why we would keep hearing someone’s name wherever we go.

If you’re not into the supernatural stuff, then you can certainly explain things away as the reticular activating system doing its thing.

That’s OK too.

Just train your reticular activating system to work in your favor.

Think happy thoughts so that you’ll always find the positive things in life to look at.

For myself, I think there’s more to it.

The reticular activating system doesn’t explain how Mr. Right’s name keeps on coming up.

Sure, it might make you pay attention whenever somebody says his name, but what about when no one is saying it?

There would be nothing for your reticular activating system to be drawn to.

I think the law of attraction is a better explanation.

Messages from the Universe

If you accept the explanation that your brain is doing it all, then you also have to accept the explanation that there is an awful lot of coincidence going on in the world.

Coincidences do happen.

Someone might suggest that you get Chinese for lunch just as you were thinking about it.

And, if it was only once, you could just laugh it off as uncanny.

But, what about the second time?

And the 3rd, and the 4th, and the 5th time? What about when it starts happening multiple times a day?

You really have to wonder how far you can stretch the idea of coincidence.

I prefer to think of strange occurrences as messages from the universe.

If you really do attract those things that resonate with your energy, then it just seems right that every strange coincidence is really a message.

Maybe you need to fix your energy, or maybe you’re on the right track already.

You can rely on the universe to guide you.

Simply use the law of attraction to bring good things into your life, and then pay attention to the signs around you.

You will very quickly learn that your mood affects your entire reality.

Have a bad day?

Check your attitude.

That car that cut you off, or that waiter who was rude to you, may be a sign that you should stop thinking bad thoughts about your boss.

On the other hand, when somebody pays you a compliment, or you just seem to have good luck, it may be a message from the universe telling you that you’re on the right path to bring about your desires.

So the next time you keep hearing some hot office guy’s name cropping up everywhere you go, ask yourself, what does it really mean?

Is the universe trying to play matchmaker?

Perhaps it’s a sign that you’re going to find the relationship you want.

If you weren’t thinking about a relationship, then maybe it’s a sign that you should be.

It’s always tricky with emotions, so don’t just accept the first explanation that comes into your head.

Really check your feelings, and ask yourself, where is my energy level at?

It doesn’t take long to get the hang of this.

Before you know it, you will be bringing peace, love, and excitement into your life, and maybe a hot guy too.
